About Us

Brodie Band Instruments was established in 2022 by Greg and Janet Brodie in Ames, Iowa. We provide a wide variety of services and repairs for band instruments as well as an inventory of used instruments for sale. Greg has completed professional instrument repair courses at Colorado Institute of Musical Instrument Technology (CIOMIT) and attends yearly regional NAPBIRT conferences, of which he is a proud member. Brodie Band Instruments has sold instruments in multiple states across the country and Greg has repaired hundreds of instruments since opening. We currently operate out of a home shop and office so we offer pickup and delivery services for your convenience. Brodie Band Instruments expanded in 2024 with the addition of Joe Brodie as the business manager. Customer service and quality work are extremely important to us and we strive to provide the best service possible to our customers.
